If someone asked you what it meant,
What would you say?
‘A disability,’ one said,
‘Not able to dance, sing and play.’
Is that true?
I’d say to you.
Or have you just forgot
Autism is not as simple as you thought.
If someone asked you what it meant,
What would you say?
‘It’s the brain,’ somebody said,
‘It doesn’t function well at day.’
Now that’s not true,
I’d say to you.
Though their brain is not like ours
It still works well,
And makes them special,
They can do anything with their powers.
We’ve got a routine for life
They take it by the day
If someone asked you what it meant,
What would you say?
